Don't know about the large scale, but I know for sure they'll do a line similiar to the Takara Master Piece scale, which will make Optimus around 10 inches tall.

MP scale is one of the ways to go. Most serious TF fans are not statue collectors, and buy third party transforming toys to fill out the void left by Takara. That said, you should consider larger, more detailed statues to take some of the Prime1 / IA market.

Sounds like you're contradicting yourself.
I don't think we really need another company producing big-ass TF statues. We already have three now and two of them are competing with the same art direction.

Prime1 is done with the G1-ish stuff,or at least it's on hiatus, and IA isn't my thing. No one is doing anything in the IDW comics style.

IDW doesn't really have a style, it's changed so much over the years. Unless you mean the Nick Roche style that's been prominent in "more than meets the eye"/"Lost Light"?
