The Legion of Super Heroes #284-313
This run was a team comic done and done right. Paul Levitz, Keith Giffen and Larry Mahlstedt took a team with 25 members and each one was given their own personality and not one was ignored. The stories were great and the art was fantastic.

I've got a few in mind, however I'd actually have to re-read them to see and not just remember how good they were when I last read them :P

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

As already mentioned the Ennis Punisher run was just plain amazing.

Wolfman and Perez run on New Teen Titans was fantastic.
The short Englehart and Marshall Rogers run on Detective comics was some of best, and most influential runs on Batman outside of O’Neil and Adams or Miller.

Agree with you on both points, especially about the Englehart/Rogers Detective run. To me, Marshall Rogers is the definitive Batman artist and a part of me still feels that Silver St Cloud was the true love of Bruce Wayne's life.

I forgot Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely's All Star Superman. That was amazing as well.

Finally some Micronauts LOVE. Probably my favorite series of all time, the 1st 12 kicked off the greatest 59 issue run ever IMO.
Followed by Claremont/Byrne/Austin's Uncanny X-Men

One book I forgot to mention is the very run that started my love of comics to begin with. This book & the horror/DC comics of the 70's were the books I'd grab at the 7-11 on the way to the beach for family vacations. I adored & still adore the Joe Kubert' run of DC's 70's Tarzan. Timeless & beautiful, practically every panel stands as a work of art by Kubert along with his minimal, to-the-point prose. I can read these over and over again. This cover sums it up.
