Doesn’t come out in the US until this weekend. Tomatometer at 52% and average score of 5.2 of 10 is not good.

I can't think of any Video Games off the top of my head that have converted well to a live action movie... IMO, if you want to make Tomb Raider a successful movie franchise you need to basically ignore the video games and their stories and just create something completely original for the movie..
It seems when movies try keep their ties with the video game it comes off really cheesy and usually tanks at the box office....

The 1st MK did well. The 2nd one was complete garbage.

This actress is Lara Croft ? Yikes. Another puppy who kills strong men in fistfight... yeah, sure.
There are so many well trained, not so small actresses out there.
Take them! There is absolutely no need for a "known actress", who isn´t even close to the Lara Croft from all the video games.
Sucks in my eyes, and is very sad.
With this actress that´s no Lara Croft or Tomb Raider in my eyes;
it´s just another action movie with a female main actress.

Domestically - $23.5 mill
Internationally - $126 mil
So $149.5 total.
Not so great domestically but doing ok worldwide.

It was decent for sure. I liked it, i hope we will have a squel in which we can see more of expert Lara Croft rather than a beginer.
