It would be funny if you were assigned as a line-minder at the comics creator guest area!

Come up to the comics creator guest section sometime and look for me to say "Hi".

Then I'll be hanging around you guys the whole time, and by the end of the con you'd all be so sick of the sight of me! lol

I'll be sure to say Hi to you Royd! I know now from all your awesome pics what you look like

"Here is how I charge:-

bust-100
half-150
full-250 W/some background"

Best,

So preview night wasn't overly interesting aside from loads of people queuing to get their tokens to get photos with the Harry Potter trio...

I do know my role this weekend though. I will be minding the lines for John Dimaggio, and Billy West, so yea. Gonna be pretty interesting I guess

Had such a blast this weekend volunteering! Had the most lovely encounter with the gorgeous Morena Baccarin (again), and funnily enough, ended up in Royd's area... well sort of. What a happy coincidence

Had a great time at the con! Royd, always good to chat and see you in action looking after your guests.

For the most part the con seemed very well organised and very smoothly run. It seemed maybe a little slower on the con floor than previous Adelaide cons but that could have just been because they had such a huge amount of space and separate areas for queuing and panels etc, which was great. A very relaxed vibe and great to be able to check stuff out without pushing and shoving. I hope Supanova were pleased with the turn out and will be back soon.

Anyways, onto the art! Since there were 5 guys I was interested in getting something from at the con, I kept my requests pretty small. From the the three international creators, Howard Chaykin, Billy Tan and Shane Davis, I just got more Avengers added to my jam piece, since I wasn't a huge enough fan of any of them to fork out for something bigger. I'm real pleased with how the jam is turning out and it's inspired me to start an X-Men one after this one is all done. Howard did Cap, Billy did Hawkeye, and Shane did Black Panther.

I got Colin Wilson to do a Judge Dredd in the same pose and style he has done two other pieces for me, and it turned out awesome as it always does with Colin!

And best of all David Yardin did a fantastic Kitty Pryde and Lockheed marker piece. David is phenomenal and I only wish I had spare funds to get the huge piece I discussed with him. Next time for sure!
