I think it's fair to the design of the character. She has always had large, muscular legs (especially thighs). Can't do effective spinning bird kicks with weak, lean thighs...

They are the same size between Alpha and V. It's easier to tell that on her left leg when doing the comparison

I will say that they have gotten bigger since the first 2 SFs, but there is no going back now!
