That sixth scale is AWFUL. Like a Ken barbie doll dressed up as cyclops lol. Like someone homemade hand sowed him a costume. OOF.

That is actually what his build was originally in the comics and the reason Wolverine give him the nickname "Slim", it was Jim Lee that started drawing him with the physique of a body builder.

I liked that he originally wasn't physically imposing, it's was a good balance of his character design, a lean built guy with average human strength but with the force to knock the Hulk on his ass using his eyes, kinda like how Doctor Octopus was originally a fat out of shape guy but had incredibly strong and flexible tentacles to make up for that.

Bowen did an great job on Cyclops giving him that slim yet muscular appearance, imo still the best Cyc statue made so far.

What a terrible piece. Even if it was fully sculpted he would be too skinny and weird looking. Mixed media capes are one thing but you just can't get away with fabric on their body or else it makes them look like they are dressed up for Halloween in pajamas.

I think Cyclops is supposed to be average super hero physique. He was nicknamed Slim when he was younger but I take it as an adult, pretty much the 70s comics on up, he muscled up. Kinda like Colossus. If you look at his early official listed height and weight he’s actually quite lanky and more basketball player-ish than football player as far as physique goes. These kids done grown up!

The toy should have more upper chest and shoulders but I think all the SS 1/6 scale pieces look weird.

I have no problem with him having a Slim build, as others have pointed out, it was his nickname, but WOW that figure looks Terrible! I'm actually surprised that Sideshow published that picture! It may as well be a Ken doll.
