Still ahead? Man I'm a big Romero fan but after Diary of the Dead I completely lost faith in his ability to make a watchable film. I think he already lost it. Based on what I've heard I doubt I'll even give "Survival" a chance.

Hey, to each their own. I wasn't saying his opinion was wrong. Just goes to show how tastes vary. Myself, I took the movie for what it was, and found that it did very well within itself. Surely no Oscars are going its way but it's a fun ride. That's what it was meant to be and it carried it off very well, IMO.

Diary (at least) had an interesting premise, but a lousy execution ... this one EVERYTHING was just really REALLY bad, especially the make up and effects.

The Decent 2 - 7/10 ... effects (especially the sound stages) were not as good as the first, but still and enjoyable flick.
And they introduce an element that will for sure guarantee another sequel.
