No art box will reduce the value of statues by quite a bit.

I wouldn't buy a statue without a heavy discount, if at all, that didn't have the box. I could see if the box was perhaps 20+ years old or such, but even then it's risky.

Me either. It would have to be a BIG discount for me to even consider it. There just wouldn't be any trust at all that it would get to me without breaking if it wasn't in the original box.

I passed on a $50 DC Direct piece that was normally about $100. No way on a much more expensive one. And I know I have several moves before I settle into a forever house.

I've sold off a lot of my collection and thankfully I had
kept the boxes because I actually got my money back plus
some.
Now comes the big decision as I am not going to sell any
more statues and maybe only buy a few more so I'm
probably going to bonfire most of my boxes as I have
a ten acre land and a large area where I usually have
my bonfires.

Might just keep my Prime One boxes and the rest up
in smoke styrofoam and all.
Sorry about the excess carbon emissions but what's
a fella supposed to do.

10 acres...I take it you don't want to build a little shack for them. I'd say just throw them out or look for someone local that might want them.

I’ve actually seen people post the box and Styrofoam insert on eBay without the statue

More useful than posting the Tweeterhead promo cards from the early Super Powers statues.

Yeah, I've seen that. I'm not sure how often they sell, but that's an option. FB groups too, while you're at it.
