If the point is the artists could have put a post it with "sold" on it, I agree. I doubt there was anything nefarious intended, but understand your seeing something and thinking "sweet" and then being disappointed.

Agreed, that would be nice. I know I have stumbled upon a few pieces in my time that I was disappointed to find out were already spoken for.

I agree as well - but like Jade stated - these artists are not salesmen - I doubt they had the forethought to execute that - they just put it in the binder and moved onto the next commission.
As for chatty artists - George Perez was top-notch, just a friendly, happy and generous guy! Aaron Lopresti was fantastically generous as well - but in person sort of a quiet guy who didn't seem interested in small talk.

Hopefully, with the amazing turnout from this year, they will decide to do it again in the summer. We will see - but as soon as it's announced I will put myself to work!

Talked to one of the guys who puts the BCC on and they said that they are going forward with plans to hold it in April...
I think it's a mistake - but they already have people signed on for April, they said. Hopefully they keep the same location though...
