Any examples?
Thanks!

MONSTER is the Tim Sale expert. He ought to know the answer to this, he has quite a collection of Sale sketches.

I'm thinking I might try and get one from him at ECCC.

I think there $300 and you better pick a character that he likes too. At Wizard World LA I did not see him working on any sketches other than the free crap ones that look like a 3 year old drew it.

I've been trying for years to get a Tim Sale convention piece......

I'll have to ask him about it the next time I am at his house.

Typically $200.00 to $300.00 for a convention piece. You're best bet is to contact him in advance. His contact info is at Timsale1.com. Oh and tomorrow I'll post something that he is currently working on for me.

Of course not.

I mentioned it to him at the show and will again when I see him in a couple weeks. I don't think it will be a problem.

I'm pretty sure I've done that (wife has cleaned up my email box again so I can't double check ), but no reply.
I know I've done the same to Hughes twice, no reply.
Ken Kelly, Ray Lago, always a reply.
Maybe I should stick with these guys.
Sounds like Sale's is not a "convention" sketch at that price and needing to contact in advance. More like a "commission" piece.
Hughes goes by who buys from him in the past and/or buys something from him at a show. That's why it doesn't matter if you get your name on the list first or not.
