Boston COmic COn October 24-25

http://www.bostoncomiccon.com/

Anyone planning on going? I was not until the comic book fairy helped me out. I was scheduled to be in Boston the weekend before, but just received a call from my doctor changing my appoint from the 19th to the 26th; I therefore will be able to attend.

My wife thinks I planned this, but scout's honor, I did not.

I'm not buying the innocent routine. I should be there, looks like a great line up for a Boston show.

I'm skipping this one. It's a great list of artists, but I've spent too much lately.

I want to go, because I desperately want me some Stephane Roux. But October is just the worst month for conventions in New England, because there are so many in the area. I've already written off the majority of them to guarantee the one I go to every year. Right now, BCC is sort of on the bubble about whether or not I go.

I am going on Saturday - going to see Herb Trimpe - probably will spend my day hanging at his table...

Well, firstly, I include New York and New Jersey in my con-planning. I've yet to do one in NY, but I've been to NJ several times.

Secondly, I'm not just talking comic cons, but other type of cons, too.

Starting the weekend of October 17th, there are seven conventions over just as many weeks (not counting any that I stopped checking for updates on because I knew I wasn't going):

Rock & Shock in Worcester, MA
Big Apple Comicon in NYC
Boston Comic Con in Boston
Chiller Theatre in NJ
United Fan Con in Boston
Super Mega Fest in Framingham, MA
Larry's Comic Book Show in Westford, MA
