Dust proof the Detolf

A lot of us here seem to have detolfs because they look good, provide 360 degree visibility and are relatively cheap. I've had some detolfs for about a year now, and even though there is very little dust that gets inside, I was wondering if there was a way to make it dust proof.

I've tried inserting cut foam in between the gaps, but it was hard to cut the foam and it looked quite ugly when inserted.

Any other ideas?

I think any 'solution' will make the display less attractive. I would say just dust them off once a year, that's what I do.

yep, we all have this problem. i've thought of sealing mine but as Sgt Taz says it'll make it look less attractive. unless anyone has some nice solutions i'd say general cleaning would suffice.

some high quality clear tape may work if placed properly and carefully, thats really if the little dust bothers you that much, as the guys said, a simple clean up every so often may do the trick.

My friend uses clear tape to seal his.
I use foam tape/weatherstrip.
And another friend used clear silicone to seal the back and white foamstrip for the front and he did an incredible job because you can`t see it at all.
