I just wish Marvel would be like more the smaller/independent companies and just have the variants readily available. I just hate all the 1 in 25, 75 100 ratios. It seems like its forcing shops to order more stock than they need to satisfy certain collectors at the same time creating artificial value! I enjoy the variants if the art is good, but I just think they have gotten a little out of hand.

I LOVE Darwyn Cooke's art! I also love his writing, but I don't believe he's writing any of these.

Anyway, looks like I might be actually looking for variants this month seeing as how Darwyn Cooke is drawing a ton of DC Variant covers. Could these ever be published alone, in some sort of book?

Sometimes Marvel will reprint all of their themed variant covers in a separate comic, but I don't remember DC ever doing that. The best you can probably hope for is that they eventually do some sort of "The DC Art of Darwyn Cooke" hardcover.
