BvS Black Chrome Armoured BAtman Variant

Just ordered this from Sideshow. RRP is $249 but I used $100 reward points. I think it blasts the original away, the only difference (apart from the figure of course) being the interchangable base.

What do you think? You gonna order it? You prefer it over the original?

  • An authentic and detailed likeness of Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
  • One (1) Batman head with LED light-up eyes (white light, battery operated) and two (2) interchangeable lower face parts by patented Interchangeable Faces Techniques capturing Ben Affleck’s facial expressions
  • Specially applied black chrome colored armor
  • Approximately 33 cm tall
  • Muscular body with over 30 points of articulation
  • Seven (7) pieces of interchangeable armored palms including:
    - One (1) pair of fists
    - One (1) pair of relaxed palms
    - One (1) right palm for holding grenade gun
    - One (1) right palm for holding grapple gun
    - One (1) gesturing right palm

  • Each head sculpt is specially hand-painted

    Costume

  • One (1) meticulously crafted Batman armor
  • One (1) specially tailored Batsuit
  • One (1) black cape
  • One (1) utility belt
  • One (1) pair of black chrome colored forearm gauntlets
  • One (1) pair of black chrome colored boots

    Weapons:

  • One (1) grapple gun
  • One (1) grenade gun
  • Two (2) grenade gun ammunitions (in closed mode and opened mode)

    Accessory:
  • Diamond shaped Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice themed figure stand with Armored Batman nameplate and the movie logo

I ordered it. I'll still order the original and the rest of the figures from this line later on.

Hot toys has fooled me once on these types of paint applications with the stealth Iron Man figure. Never looks as good as the photos IMO.

I ordered as well. Apparently it's NOT limited 1 per customer even though it's an exclusive. Also, I hope this won't be like the Iron Man line where they keep releasing repaints.

I think this one makes sense though & even though I have not seen the trailer, people say he looks like this when standing in the rain

He is very much silver/grey in the trailers. This black chrome is a neat look but I will just get the most film accurate version.

IM stealth was never classed as a chrome figure. It had see-through parts. Totally different to this figure. I've seen video footage of it at Secret Base & it still holds up

Quite a few shots of what I have seen (haven't seen the trailers yet) of BAtman standing in the rain look like the Black Chrome version.

But Frankly I don't get why people get so hung up about it having to be movie accurate or nothing. I buy what looks good, got nothing to do with performance on screen. People going on how you can order Captain Phasma without seeing the movie first. The costume is great. That's all that matters. I'm buying a figure not a movie!
Plus I think HT original Armoured bats looks cheap Mezco's One:12 figure looks better!
