Sorry - no idea what imperfections you are trying to show us?

Now the badly sculpted dreds - yeah - everyone agrees on that.

I'd be more concerned that it will look a lot worse after dropping several feet off that narrow cabinet

Deleted my post damnit.

I think people need to enjoy their pieces and Stop looking for perfection.

I stopped trying to collect perfection years ago and I enjoy my pieces MUCH more

The pic of the left mandible has either exccess resin or overspray (circled in red) which doesn't appear on the right mandible (2nd pic). The dreads yeah.... complete crap. There are areas around that head/neck that don't have that glossy clear coat. The green/jade looking color in the proto pics is completely absent from the armor.

It's pretty light so the legendary detolf should be able to support its weight. Besides, the Predator should be 7ft tall and the detolf achieves that effect perfectly, while hiding all the crap that's wrong with it.

So because this prop replica has screen lineage, I should be content with that fact and the minimal clean-up/restoration, mediocre paint job and pay through the roof for it?

I guess I should just give my money away.

However, if you're 5-10ft away, it looks impressive.
So overall are you satisfied with your purchase? Do you feel good about the cash you spent

Not really. Pretty underwhelmed. I've always wanted a life-size Predator bust since I missed out on the original years ago. Hell, I even looked at all those custom display options with the foam latex masks/DIY projects, but held off once CP announced their P2.

I was just hoping to wowed when I opened that damn box. Kind of like when you see a pair of breasts for the first time. That's the feeling I get when I crack open an XM, Prime1, ECC or some other amazing piece.

Well - goes to show we're all different - you are unhappy with something that no-one else has complained about (that's just part of the skin texture) yet don't seem to mind the masses of yellow drool all over your copy. Each to their own.

I know the item is only 20 lb, it's having on that thin plinth that is asking for trouble - one bump and your production issues could be the least of your concerns. But like keeping or returning it - it's totally your decision. Was just trying to help.

The Detolf is anchored to the wall. No kids, large dogs roaming the house.

.

Here's my in-hand review from 3 months back.

I still think it's worth every penny.
