im officially stoked through the roof for Obi-Wan after it was confirmed Hayden is coming back as Vader for the series
not sure how that'll work though, it was pretty clear in ANH that they haven't seen each other since the Mustafar incident...

Could be done in flashbacks.. although both actors are much older now, so who knows...

Or maybe through some type of dream sequence (which is my guess).

Wow, all these shows. I guess this is what happens when they actually put out a quality SW product.

Not true. Episode III portrayed it in such a way that that COULD be their last meeting, but that's speculation. In fact, what Vader says in ANH makes more sense if they had met again in the intervening years.
"I've been waiting for you, Obi-Wan. We meet again, at last. The circle is now complete."
Nothing about that indicates it's been 16 years, versus, say, 10... or even six years. The most you can assume is that it's been "a while".
"When I left you, I was but the learner; now I am the master."
"When I left you"? Odd thing to say when you were the one cut down, and Obi-wan left and took your saber...
Finally, Ben says "Only a master of evil, Darth."
Now, he calls him 'Darth' because Lucas hadn't sorted out all the names and titles at that point, but in-universe, a follow-up meeting could expand on Obi-wan no longer calling his brother, Anakin, by name, to start using 'Darth' now, sarcastically.
So basically, I'm looking forward to an even more epic showdown.

I'm sure some of you have seen " Star Wars SC 38 Reimagined"...
I love it, but I can see the more traditionalist arguing it doesn't fit the movie, or the character's ages.
Imagine that scene then in a movie (or rather, series) set 10 years earlier. Obi-wan still close to his prime, Vader now used to his cybernetics, and accustomed to greater use of Force powers, rather than the agility and swordsmanship shown in the Episode III duel. You'll see more of the power and rage that this scene depicts. They could almost use this battle scene-for-scene, make it canon, and I'd be happy with nothing else.

Maybe this is actually referring to when he left Obi-wan as Anakin (when he left for the dark side he was still learning under Obi the council never granted him Master status) Also Remember Obi did say to Luke Vader killed your father. And he he does have that certain point of view thing going for him, So technically he sliced and left Vader and not Anakin. Maybe Vader is using that same theory. Obi left Anakin for dead, not Vader.

I’m thinking it will be flashbacks on what Vader was doing during order 66. And possibly him hunting down the last of the Jedi maybe even in his Vader Suit. They really never have to meet in the series for this to work..they might “just miss” one another from planet to planet.
