New games in Canada raising to $74.99

looks like every game set to release (starting in September?) has a pre-order price of $74.99 now. In Ontario we're now looking at just under $85 for a game post-tax.

Takes them years to drop Canadian prices down to American levels when our dollar rises well above par, yet takes them no time to jack all our prices up again (repeatedly) as the dollar lowers.

Yeah, I usually wait for the game to drop in price too. Unless it is a limited edition that I must have. The games drop in price pretty fast nowadays.

ugh... glad I am 2-3 years behind on games and won't be getting my PS4 until June/July; lots of used and discount titles to keep the premium priced stuff at bay.

Such BS as I didn't see our games priced below US MSRP when the CDN dollar was worth a few cents more than the greenback. Even more frustrating is that American economists are predicting an imminent correction to the US dollar which they feel is artificially high right now.
