You also fail to mention what was powering this villian. If Wolverine faced Thor's foes he would have died a long time ago.

A curse was powering the baddie in this series. I mentioned supernatural, thought that covered it.
He was exceptionally powerful.

Wolverine may be the best there is at what he does but fighting Thor is something completely different than fighting Sabretooth or fighting ninja's from The Hand.
I do think Wolvie will be able to hit Thor with some good blows (after all Wolverine was able to slash up The Hulk as well) but at the end of the fight there can only be one man left standing and that will be Thor.
Wolverine is simply outclassed and outpowered here. Thor is in a different league.
The Odinson will hit Wolverine so hard his healing factor will have to work overtime I am afraid.
