We actually designed and did rough sculpts for both the He-Man & Battle Cat and the Skeletor & Panthor together, so Im glad that translated so well to both of the finished products. They were always intended to be STRONG stand-alone pieces FIRST, and work as a set as a BONUS. That's how I try to approach everything... Im glad we made it work here, especially with both pieces essentially being their own dioramas... huge props to Guillermo Barbiero specifically as lead sculptor on both of these for working with us to make these work so well.

To everyone dealing with breakage, replacements, and CS issues, Im sorry Im not a part of that and can help, but hoping you working with Eric more recently has helped / will help. I know there was a bit of a transition issue but it seems like recently things are going in a positive direction. Super stoked to have Eric on the team and for all this stuff to get sorted out.

Back to the art stuff, I dont think it's a secret that we'd love to do the OBVIOUS 3rd piece in the line, She-Ra and Swift Wind, but we have other plans for her 40th this year, and that's all I'll say on that for now...

About continuing into more CLASSICS, even not on mounts, we have had plans since early 2020 when we launched MOTU with Tweeterhead, and we had 3 finished CLASSIC designs with 4 other designs in the works... but then we realized we were biting off more than we could chew, and there would be conflicts with characters appearing in both lines too close to each other (ie - Classic Mer-Man and Legends Mer-Man) so we decided to focus primarily on the "LEGENDS" line and keep it to He-Man & Battle Cat as a stand alone in the Classics line to start, and if sales were there, to follow-up with the Skeletor & Panthor, and see where to go from there...

We have plans for more 1:6 scale pieces, to display with these pieces and our DC statues, that to us, Tweeterhead, is our main scale, and the LEGENDS being 1:5 was a carry over from where the line started previously at Sideshow. We want to keep that line going, obviously its my wil' baby but I also love keeping the 1:6 scale line going, not just with CLASSICS, but other approaches to the BIG WONDERFULLY CRAZY WORLD OF MOTU... Who knows what we have planned next...

Anyways, glad Skeletor and Panthor is getting the love! Thanks again for all the support everyone!

Did the classic Skeletor and Panthor do well enough to continue the other Classics you designed?

I read this as NO (but maybe the Swift Wind will be made as 3rd piece)

There is too much competition with their Legends 1:5 sales.

Hey guys, Tweeterhead had not sent me any update or invoice for my skeletor panthor statue. I reached out THREE times and finally got a reply in which they were asking me to confirm my address and agree to a almost $500 USD charge for air shipping to Canada or $200 USD FRIEGHT by SEA charge and would have to wait 2 more months to recieve it.

I thought this sounded out to lunch when so many have recieved theirs without any delay and when I bought my Heman battlecat statue from SIDESHOW, I was charged $100 USD and it was here in 2 days.

I asked why it would be shipping from china and not the usa and if there pricing was a mistake. I have been collecting for 25 years and never heard of a $500 USD charge for a $950 statue and even at that price would take 1.5 weeks to get here from china.

I am still waiting to hear back, but wondered if anyone else has had this situation with Tweeterhead. If they insist on this, I will never by from them again, as I dont follow this thread too much, but have noticed there have been a lot of complaints towards Tweeterhead in the last little while. Any thoughts, thankyou guys!

I do have exactly the same problem. I chose the $200 option by boat and 2 or 3 months wait because that was insane for me to pay $500..........

Depending on how many pre-orders were done by US/Canadian customers, shouldn't the company at least procure that minimum number of statues to their US warehouse?

Are they passing on the additional shipping cost to the customers, instead of having to pay for the shipping container themselves?

I know PCS is doing something similar.

So are US Tweeterhead customers also having to pay shipping costs from China for all their purchases anymore or this applies to non-US only?
