Of course the base is impeccably done but these big squares really take away from the illusion that you are looking at the real thing.

At least for me.

The bases are nice but give no consideration to space-challenged buyers. It would have been just as nice to put it on an elaborate pedestal.

That part I agree with. I’m really torn. My partner keeps asking me: are you getting it?
And I’d love to, but that base, although is wonderful, is HUGE!
