Is Venom the most surprising success story?

That's fine, my reference was total global box office when referring to Venom so trying to keep apples to apples.

When you look at the totals, China is the reason this is still making money. It opened in China on 11/9 and is closing in on $300 million just in China.

Haven't seen either yet, but from what I "hear online" is that Venom is better than it's made out to be from film critics and that Black Panther is a bit overrated.

Just saw Venom, I'd give it 7/10.... It was fun to watch.... Not quite the same quality as Marvel made movies but it was close.... With $823 million at the box office will defiantly be seeing a 2nd Venom movie..
