It's not that it's hard to use. I used to use it all the time. But Yahoo got into this pattern of my account being routinely hacked into and the password being changed (and they weren't easy passwords, either). This last time, when I mailed them about not being able to log into my account, they wanted me to send them money and my personal ID information, so that they could verify that I was who I said I was. I said 'no, thanks; I don't pay to be ID'd by a free service', and have used AIM ever since.

I totally believe it would be worth my while. But I don't think that it's worth the heartache of getting involved with Yahoo again.

I'm totally aware that it's completely my loss. Don't think I'm not broken up over it.

That sucks! I've never had a problem with my accounts with Yahoo being hacked.
