Ebay question. What do you do if you suspect a buyer is swapping a broken statue?
I sold a PF on EBay that was in perfect condition. The buyer reported that the foot arrived damaged so I offered to refund their money.
Now they're saying that the clothing is damaged too. This stinks of a swapped out statue.

Obviously I would say you should check the ES number. If it is tampered with to match your original statue then its obviously a scam. That would be the easiest way.

The ES is on the base. It's easy to change that unfortunately.

This guy has a very high rating on EBay, but from the beginning he's been kind of a jerk. Looks like I'm going to eat the loss.

what damage was done to the clothing? that's pretty much impossible to damage during shipping.

Also he has to send you the package back at his expense otherwise paypal will not give him the refund.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

if filing a claim with the post office, make sure the box looks like crap, or they will mark no visible damage and deny your claim. a nice hole and a crushed corner will do it. Bastards.
