Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?

I agree that it's not the best looking to date,...but I suppose the only real choices I have for a Prof. X right now would be the GG animated Prof. X or the Jim Lee in the Yellow chair, and since I'm going to try and recreate those covers.......

That particular X-Men # 1 has Prof. X. in the background with 90's Jean (which is on order) as well as the Beast and Archangel!! (Also on order)

It should make for a cool display.

I'm sure bowen will release this version eventually, since he's released Jim Lee versions of Beast, Storm, Cyclops, Rogue, and soon Jean Grey. Patience young Jedi!!!

you're probably right,...but in the meantime,...I've got shelves that need pieces to fill them.

Besides, I lool at my collection like I look at my resume,.....it's always being updated.

The moment it stops, is the moment it gets stale...

where's the fun in that..?

Have a good weekend, fellows.

S'funny seeing how many times we have to apologize to each other for sh!t that's said in here.. let me cover the bases so no more apologies are necessary:

A. Steve is a hair-metal/classic rock fan
extraordinaire, who cracks open brews
far more than he does perp's skulls (supposedly).
He has a thing for Dazzler and Clay Moore statues,
and thankfully his fondness of the latter
supercedes his bizarre love of the former.
A loving family man, he has yet to realize
his vast collection of comics would be beter put
to use in the family furnace - thereby heating his
home over these cold, winter months, than rotting
away in an unGodly amount of longboxes, only
to be sold/shipped off when the wife casts Steve
a raised eyebrow of inquiry as to why a grown man
needs so many books about men in tights.

B. Dan is getting over an illness, and honestly has a
warm aura of blinding light that surrounds him at
all times.. quite plainly, Dan cannot now nor will ever
do any wrong. I'm quite positive that said aura
is responsible for the cleansing of the cold, moreso
than any medication Dan might be taking.
Keeper of the Moustache Grail, Dan possesses
the "keys to the kingdom" on how to maintain
a fierce lip-monster, as well as how best to employ
said beast when motor-boating the opposite sex.

C. Luis... what is there to say about Luis? With self-
confidence that rivals my own (which is
unheard of.. haha), above-average
looks and a nice swing to his step (not to mention
dancing skills women pay to get their hands on,
quite literally), the only things Luis has going
against him is his irrational need to apologize to
people when he thinks he's hurt their feelings.
It's an endearing trait, and it's important to
let others know your words mean them no
harm, but chances are those same people have
tongues that are just as barbed as yours, and
mean little to no harm as well (although, as you
live in SoCal, plenty of assholes also live there...
if someone deserves to be put in their place,
don't apologize for being the person who
administers the "putting".

D. "Merlose" - What is there to say about this young
man? His love for his friends is clearly evident,
as is his unique, appealing fashion sense. When
God was handing out sensitivity, this young man
got two handfuls of it... never a man who backs
down from pointing out sh!tty paintjobs or shoddy
customizations, and always the first to tell a fellow
sausage-packer if he likes the way his "goods" look
in "those jeans". A man among men, Merlose hangs
well with people on both sides of the fence. His
refusal to mince words is a great strength, indeed.

E. Mike - Clearly one of the more level-headed
members of the Dazzler crew, this affectionate,
well-mannered (let alone well-meaning) young man
never strays from letting people know how he feels
about Batman- or Dazzler-related issues. An adept
wordsmith, he knows how to entertain and inform
by way of the fewest words possible, when some
may actually want more from him than he normally
is inclined to give. Is this a flaw.. a fault.. per se?
Hardly. Just an observation, and one freely given.
Mike is the type of person who is friend to all, and
friendly to all, a hard trait to maintain, but one
he maintains easily.. and well.

F. Anand - Anand is very gifted with technology,
his people only recently having been introduced to
fire, let alone electricity. The man does know his
Batman and Star Wars, though, and that's certainly
a plus to his already lauded-by-many
characteristics. Good-natured, good-humored
Good Samaritan (one would assume), he's clearly
a man who recognizes the value of family, and
carries such values onto the 'net, where they're
warmly received by his compatriots here. Pics
of his sister, while as rare as the Appalachian Yeti,
are as coveted by this young man as gold is by
the most miserly of men, as her visage is truly
a sight to behold. Anand's greatest strength is
keeping her to himself. Haha.

G. Ryan - Hey.. it's me! Clearly bored, Ryan spends
far too much time on Statue Forum and far too
little time pursuing his writing, or furthering
his voice-acting career at the moment. Working
on the house and surfing have even taken a
backseat lately to him just keeping up with the
fact that his wife's pursuit of her PhD has his home
in a constant state of flux. Is it a productive flux?
Certainly, although not always all that healthy.
Ryan keeps himself busy with Statue Forum,
writing, water sports, what v-a work falls in his
lap at the moment (as supporting Cyn dominates
his time at the moment, and rightfully so), and
pick-up games of street football, which only end
when "the wives" come out and yell at us that it's
getting dark. Capable of much more than he's
currently doing, he's trying to.. and needs to..
get his @ss in gear this year and get the ball rolling
as much as it was a couple years back. Always
easy-going, and as optimistic as he is sure of
himself, his one drawback is that it's much easier
to make plans than it is to carry them out. This
was not the case a couple years ago, and he's
actively trying to rectify the new development
now, with success. Thankfully his decent looks,
good sense of humor, great personality,
skills behind the mic, and humble nature can all
only help to further his goals.

H. SuperDoug - One would imagine he gets the surname "Super"
from his sexual exploits, and not from his exciting antics at
the keyboard... or to a lesser degree, fighting crime. Whether
this is the truth or not is hardly for me to say (I'm assuming
his FoN brethren would know more on this subject than I).
What is known, however, is Doug's fondness for all things "hero",
as well as his adept way of being able to strike up conversations
in the midst of arguments, thus snuffing out any animosity in the room.
Truly a scholar of the written word, this well-read and well-written man
is also said to "wear a mean thong". Such a claim is not for me to dispute,
however.

I. Jono - Having abandoned his brethren in the Dazzler thread due to all the
pics of womenfolk, Jono clearly doesn't mind treading all over the hearts of
those who love him. Every-so-often incursions into the FoN thread to rub virtual
oil on the taut-sinewed forms of his brothers in FoN, himself included, clearly
hasn't been enough of a plea to bring him back to us, so until the time that Jono
feels he is ready to rejoin us, since the boys have had to cut back on their girlie-
pictures.. we'll be waiting. Do we miss him? Yes. Do we want him back?
Absolutely. Is he getting balloons, a parade, or even a welcome-back party
at this point? Hell no. Maybe some beef jerky and a slap on the buttocks, if he's
lucky.

J. Jenny - What is there to say about this young lady that hasn't already been said?
Those eyes... that smile.. those dimples... wow. Such a talented painter of
statues, and such a warm, glowing personality. Jen's really an endearing young
lady, who I'm sure lights up most rooms once she enters them. A very sweet,
very loving person, she really did come out a winner in the end, as she has all
those talents going for her.. as well as a rockin' caboose and the sense to wear
jeans that show it off.
If all the women on this board are the icing on this masculine man-cake, than
Jenny's certainly the cherry that's been plopped down on top of this masterpiece.
A real sweetheart.

Haha.

Have a good weekend, guys.

Oh well, Ebay's a great place for that.

It's ok, my friend,.....this hobby should be fun and adventurous. Otherwise,...what's the point, really.?

To date, my collection has fluctuated so much that it keeps it exciting and has gotten to the point where my family members come over and when they do, they get excited to see the new changes. Believe it or not, they actually notice some things.

Just last month, my mother in law came over to our place and LOVED the Clear Iceman display I have in my Detolf. She hadn't seen it prior to that.

It's all good!
