Fox's The New Mutants

Here's the trailer for director Josh Boone's NEW MUTANTS.

Based primarily on the famous "Demon Bear" storyline from the comics, the film features Maisie Williams as Wolfsbane, Anya Taylor-Joy as Magik, Charlie Heaton as Cannonball, Henry Zaga as Sunspot, and Blu Hunt as Mirage.

It's definitely a different X-Men film...has a very horror, Elm Street kind of feel to it

NEW MUTANTS hits theaters on Friday, April 13th, 2018.

Not quite sure what to think from that trailer. I liked the New Mutants when they came out. But not a huge fan of jump out and "scare" you horror.

seems quite odd to me...only time can tell if this is one of those "different" type of comic movies that actually ends up being worth the risk in the end

I do enjoy that they are mostly staying true to the classic new mutants roster of characters though

It's a risky proposition to try the horror genre and cater to the younger demo of teens.

Fox need to give up the rights, this looks stupid. What a waste.

Ya know, I’m not all that upset about this. At least it’s a unique spin and not a butchering of a classic tale. I hope it does well.

I”m glad to see Fox branching out with their X-Men license. Deapool and Logan taught them that mixing different genres with X-Men provide a new approach to superhero flims. I know one thing, Disney would never do anything like. Closest Marvel Disney has done in making something more adult is with the Netflix Marvel shows which outside of Daredevil have been mediocre at best and makes viewers suffer through PG-13 styled sex scenes.
