Yup, that's why fully sculpted will always be better.

Besides, a statue is supposed to be fully sculpted. A statue that looks like it has mixed-media but is fully sculpted will always show a level of skill greater than a statue with mixed-media.

Or the material that XM uses. Doesn't feel like cheap PVC.
The color of the cape, skirt, ... then also matches the color of the statue. I would not have bought XM Mystique with a white fabric skirt like the one Kier wears. I've got used to it by now, but the statues are next to each other and Mystique just looks much more valuable than Kier.
I am so glad that the two Gallevarbe statues are not wearing any fabric.
With Prime 1 Sonja, I'm still thinking about whether I want the cape, otherwise I'm currently not buying mixed media anymore.

I would cut off the briefs that is on the statue carefully so your tailor can have the pattern. Then they just need to figure out how to have it open and close via velcro (or button, etc).

I really want to but just haven't gotten around to it. I asked a customizer on Facebook to look into it for me but he never got back to me. You'd be interested in buying a pair?
