Back to Mags. I remember the good ol' days of paying $3-400 for a Sideshow statue so when I saw the $750 I thought it was a sick joke. Let me tell you when you actually display him, it feels like a $750 statue. This is no hollow boy.

It definitely does not feel hollow. The peg in the foot that sits in the base is about 1.50" l x 1"w x .5" thick, so there must be a lot of polystone surrounding it.

Some new pics I took when I was cleaning up so I had to move some statues and I put these 2 close together for a comparison.










I just can't get over how good the pose is. It's the perfect Magneto pose, rising up and effing up everything around him.

Ok so I just opened this guy up
Noticed a couple paint blemishes and wanted your opinions
After looking it over thoroughly I only noticed one area , on the back of his leg above his boot , a bit of overspray from when they painted the boots I imagine.
It’s on the back of the leg so nobody’s really gonna see it. but I’ll know it and it may kill me inside , lol
Anyway what you guys think , worth the hassle or nah ?
I circled the area on the pics , also camera sucks FWIW

Not a big deal to me, I doubt any statue's flawless and those are tiny and on the back like you said.


I'd like to see someone paint his helmet metallic. Anybody?

Nah that is nothing imo. I say it isn't worth the hassle.

Ask for a replacement. Maybe SS will offer you credit. Doesn't hurt to ask

Based on all of these cool pictures, I finally broke down and ordered the EX. Now on to the hardest part.....finding room for him.

After seeing a regular edition at a LCS and being able to get a 10% off coupon through Sideshow, I decided to grab an EX. Man, I have really changed my mind on this piece (except the EX head which I still don't like). He's pretty damn sick.

I left off the two huge spikes as well, because I think it looks better without them.
