The neck seam is a bigger dealbreaker than the missile.

I'm right there with you on this. The missile is holding me back... actually it's the flame. I'm surprised Iron Studios didn't make the flame held on by a magnet. Heck, the missile itself could be magnetized as well and it just sits nicely in Hulk's hand.

There's some really great bits to this piece, the teeth look outstanding, the detail on the base is really well thought out too, and his immense mass is great. But while they've clearly tried to hide the seam from the photo gallery, it is obvious, the missile I could do without and I'm not a fan of 2 out fo the 3 heads.

But the reason I didn't think twice about ordering, is the skin texture above all - it looks like his entire body is covered in goosebumps and what's worse, it's really close to the texture of the sand on the base, which is just bizarre for me. It's really disappointing when compared to some of the other Iron Studio pieces that have been revealed recently.

I went ahead and ordered.. It was between this and XM Hulk. I went with this due to the Size (32.5 inches tall and 25 inches wide is just freaking massive) and I prefer the pose a bit more.. XM's is the classier piece I think but I am not in love with the pose and I am not in love with the head sculpt.. I know, I know.. Its two of the things that people really love.

This piece has 4 head sculpts.. Two that I really like and two that will stay in the box.

I get the complaints but the good / great outweighs the bad IMO.. I don't mind the missile and I am hoping the fire is removable.. The skin texture was something I was unsure of at first but it does not really bother me.

I have owned 4 Iron Studio 1/4 scale pieces and they nailed all 4 in terms of quality. Hell two of the pieces are some of the best pieces I have ever owned with their Darth Vader and Punisher.

I am hoping that I get the same feeling as with this piece as I did with the others.

Again I love the size.. If SSC were to put out a piece this big it would cost 2000.00
