Yeah, that probably what it is in your case.
The normal, within spec samples will make the seam less aggressively in your face noticeable, but a seam is still a seam. Like any flaw, once you know it's there your eye is always going to go to it.
As for the two bottom lashes- I'm gonna assume those are supposed to be Amazon war paint, just timidly applied [/sarcasm]
