Anybody else have problems w/ their Prometheus BD?
About mid way through the movie it starts getting pixelated. All other movies play fine but this one.
I tried playing it in my ps3 and it works fine. Weird or what? I've updated my bd player and it still does it. Has anyone else had this problem?
Oh anf usually if I restart my bd player it will finish the movie without problems. Could it be a dirty lens?

Haven't watched my copy of Prometheus yet. Going to have to check this out later today.

Well the fact that it plays fine on your PS3 means the problem is with your BD player. Whether its a firmware, software or player/disk compatibility issue is the next question.
You might want to do some research on one of the BD forums like blu-ray.com to see if this is a known issue. I seem to remember reading there was an issue with this release. I haven't watched mine yet either but I use a PS3 so I wouldn't be much help even if I had.

Fixed it! The problem is the BD internet connection. It has to be shut off.

I haven't opened it yet, how long has it been out now...LOL.
My Batman 3 by Nolan goes from full screen to letter box about every different scene or when they change camera angles. Really weird.

Not weird at all actually. The transition you're seeing is the switch between scenes filmed with IMAX cameras (full screen) and then without (letterbox.) It is normal.

Had a similar issue with the recent Star Trek revival. Tried it 1st on my PS3 then my Panasonic blu-ray player and it would constantly freeze just minutes into the movie. Disc was brand new. Ended up giving it away lol
