"Accidentally re-used it" sounds better than "High-ranking official sold it to private collector"

Can you imagine that was the first thing they did was nail each other in the bean bags?

They'd report - "getting it in the golden nuggets hurts up here too... "

Maybe that's why we haven't been back

the condition of the space program as seen by the men themselves. they aren't insulting the astronauts that died, they aren't downplaying past achievements, they simply are disappointed in what their great feats have accomplished in the last 40 years. we should have progressed a lot farther than where we are now seems to be the theme. and to think after the shuttle program gets retired, we'll be hitching rides to the orbiting space station from the russians.

Yeah it sucks.
Hopefully some heat will get turned up to get through the gap faster.

But it remains to be seen if the Ares rocket will survive the Augustine commission and we go back to the drawing board yet again.

It's like the seventies all over again, we had a six year gap after Apollo to shuttle.

and where would the space shuttle and space station be without the Canadarm?
as for the landings being faked-it was the height of the Cold War. Do you really think the Soviets would have stayed silent if they had the slightest bit of proof that the Americans were faking their moon landing?
Or would you like to suggest that the Cold War was also faked and the Americans and Soviets were in on the whole thing together?

People who believe it was fake, are either ignorant, gullible, do so for an emotional need, or are selling something. They need either to take science and critical thinking courses, get counseling or learn to not be a sucker.

Fantastic shot of the Apollo 14 landing site, before and after.
