Yeah, if only there were some way to mae extra money using our talents...

By the way, off topic here, but if you were ever thinking about using Shapeways for sculpted projects, don't. Complete waste of time.

I know right? its too bad most people will be priced out of this piece and thus the rest of the line, not a good way to start a new line of statues, if the green ranger cant get people to open their wallets the other rangers definitely wont

The Dragonzord head in scale with the ranger would be gigantic lol and would certainly not keep the reg the same price.

PVC is expensive and only becomes cheap when numbers go in to the 1000s.....also i don't think a 1/4 resin statue sitting on a PVC base would be great idea.

I'm not a fan of the coin either as the base, i think i would have preferred a simple black base with the design of the coin etched into it or just a rocky formation base with etched in details ( again the coin or the dragonzord ).

If they did go with a rock base they could have also make them so they all interconnected as an added bonus.

I doubt PCS will change it at this stage but it'll be interesting to see how this sells.

I do think the DragonZord base will be sold out in a week or so, i think there are 193 fans out there who will want the ultimate Green Ranger collectible and this is DEFINITELY it.

I would probably go for it if the payments were more spread out but i can't do a 100 bucks a month for 8 months from Jan to August with all my other stuff on plans too.

Also i'm highly doubtful this is going to ship in Sep to Dec next year.....if they can spread it out to 100 bucks every other month or 50 a month for 16 months then i could do it.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

come on man, it's simple business.
It might be but when your product ends up looking like this you aren't going to be recouping a lot of your dollars spent. This is an awesome piece with the Dragonzord tail but $1000 is out of most people's price point. The alternative, which is cheaper, is not good. That base looks very odd and is visually unappealing. Sometimes you have to regroup, yes it will cost more money, but it will lead to better sells. This one as is, is probably not going to get a lot of sells which may mean the death of the line.

I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

Guessing the rest of the regs in the line will have a matching coin base.

you'll be waiting probably forever sadly, they cancelled the 'zero' line after the green ranger was released I was so sad when they cancelled the figuarts zero line after the green ranger, especially after they showed the red ranger (as shown in your pic) then just scrapped it entirely! I was so stoked to have all the rangers with their weapons in a small easily displayable size, I have the green ranger one and I love it, the detail is insane for such a small piece

I thought the 1:1 Busts would be a hard sell, but I really
think these 1/4 Statues will be harder with that price point
and those coin/lightning bolt bases.

At least with the busts, it is like owning a prop helmet
on a bust form. Looks clean and professional.

With this the tacky base kills it. Plain and simple would be
the way to go… even a rock quarry type of base would have
been better than that coin.

I love life size busts but they're really a niche product among collectors. I think these will sell better than the busts.
