A custom studio bought these and produced at least two of them. So they couldn't do those exact designs.

I almost posted YouTube review videos, but I can't remember the forum's stance on that.

I'm not an expert on licensing, but how would that work? Unless the custom studio had a TMNT license, how are any of their pieces protected from reproduction by a studio that does have a license?

You're correct. Custom studios are unlicensed, and therefore, not legal reproductions. They have no rights in this scenario.

The artist sold his work to them, as he could have sold the files to anyone with a 3D printer. PCS buys his work to produce a licensed product, but probably wanted to change it up slightly so it's not confused with unlicensed product out there.

Too bad, because Donatello with goggles looks lame. Hope they drop that.
