Taken 3 - 6.5/10 Neeson kicking ass again. Not much else to say

The Imitation Game - 8/10 Recommended. Great narrative

Wild - 7/10 Witherspoon gives a compelling performance

The Gambler - 6.5/10 A bit muddled with a wandering narrative. Goodman gives a good performance though

Song of the Sea (2014) - Saoirse, the last of the selkies, escapes from her grandmother's home to journey to the sea and free fairy creatures trapped in the modern world.

This is my favorite of the Oscar-nominated animated films this year. 9/10

Promised Land ~ 3/5

Not my usual movie type, but it was more enjoyable than I expected. Not a fan of Damon normally, but even he did really well in this one. Clever twist towards the end that I never saw coming either. Check it out on a slow night.

Doc Hollywod (1991) - This is a guilty pleasure from the early 90's starring MJ Fox. 7/10

Wild (2015) - Woman goes on hiking trip to put her past behind her. Nice performance from RWitherspoon. 6/10

Face/Off 7/10

A bit of a guilty pleasure has all the John Woo and 90's action hallmarks

Fury: 8/10 - Really enjoyed it, in as much as you can enjoy the subject matter. The tank battle scenes were pretty amazing, and the ricochets bouncing off the tanks were freaky. Not without it's flaws, but still, I can see myself adding it to my war movie rotation.

Agreed. I thought it was the best war movie in a while. I love the fact that the leads were pretty unlike-able. I can see why the director should do well on Suicide Squad. I hope he also makes those guys unlike-able.

Agree on all points, gentlemen. It will be going into my blu ray collection as well.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
