Finally got my Lee Weeks statue! Had to order 3 times from Amazon. First one came without the protective foam and was shattered to pieces. Second one they sent was wrong one (Mike Mignola). Each time I had to send back and wait for refund to be issued before reordering.

This is the lowest price I've seen recently for Gerard Way Bats. https://www.mercari.com/us/item/m71037117117/

Maybe you can negotiate a lower price?

Hope this helps.

Wow, sorry you had so much trouble. I order from BBTS largely because they?re so dependable and I don?t encounter issues like these.

I agree and order almost all my statues from BBTS. Very happy with their service including packing and shipping.

Frank Miller Armored Batman - DC Collectibles - Edition Size 5,000

Greg Capullo Batmonster - McFarlane Toys - Edition Size 3,750

Mike Mignola Batman Gaslight - McFarlane Toys - Edition Size 3,500

Olivier Coipel - McFarlane Toys - Edition Size 528

Denys Cowan - McFarlane Toys - Edition Size 630

Lee Weeks - McFarlane Toys - Edition Size 640

It looks like McFarlane took over completely with Coipel and will probably be around that 600 number with edition sizes going forward.
Thanks a lot for the info. I have recently gotten into these and have been happy that I have been able to pick up so many for such great prices.

But I am dismayed at the new reduced run which makes a couple of awesome looking statues almost unobtainable.

Was there ever any reason given for such a huge run reduction? It appears that all the 3K to 5K runs sold out eventually so reducing it so much seems odd.

They want to increase profits, the less are made, the less will get discounted due to lack of sales. They're going to be doing the same with figures.

The statue line has been going for nearly 20 years and the retail price for the longest time was around $50 and shipping until a few years ago was like $8-10. I don't ever remember these being hard to get and stores had stock of them for seemingly ever.

Also the QC on the large runs was absolutely horrendous. Since McFarlane took over I haven't had any issues but you could never preorder the DC Direct versions because you would need to go through 3 or 4 just to receive an undamaged statue.

Never mind, managed to get one just in time to get it signed by Peter Kuper yesterday at SDCC.
