Finally watched Solo: A Star Wars Story
8/10
I do however think Han was needed to maybe "Sell" the movie..but he easily could have been replaced with a minor character as the lead and it still would have worked. Only flaw was Crimson Dawn was not used to the fullest.

I feel out of the 4 Star Wars movies Disney has released Solo felt the most like the original Trilogy. I think Ron Howard did a great job considering he had to step in and fix it due to Kennedy fighting with the original Directors which seems to happen on all the Star Wars movies... Solo is just a fun movie to watch... It's a bummer they won't make anymore Solo movies..

I enjoyed it a lot, and I left it with a sense that there were much bigger and better things to come. It seemed to set up a sequel involving Crimson Dawn a lot more heavily which obviously could have been very cool. Are there definitely no sequels to it now then? I can't keep up with Disney and their ever changing Star Wars schedule.

Speaking for myself I was never in favor of a Han Solo stand alone origin movie. I was always of the mindset that they should’ve made it ‘Star Wars: Underworld’ with Solo being one of many players. Incorporating the likes of numerous Bounty Hunters, Jabba the Hutt, Crimson Dawn and many other seedy elements of the SW Universe.

The Shape of Water 5/10.

I don't get what the hype was for this one
