how much is a total fair price for this statue today? premium versus collector?

i've noticed statues out of japan are very overpriced on the bay. this one for example they have it listed anywhere from 600-900$.

also for small kotobukiya statues they have them listed anywhere from 350-450$ when they are really going for 150-200$

any reason for why japan grossly overvalues all statues?

Find out the artist, I can't recall who it was (edit, image states Fabian Monk). They may do prints of their own.
