still bitter about all the different versions, but statue itself is absolutely top quality as expected from prime1 - from packaging, fit/finish, paint app, tiniest details, and everything. No other brand can touch prime1.

I have fulfilled my childhood dream and got the 2 transformers i always wanted - exactly as i pictured them when i was little. So all is good.

Excuse the terrible photos, my dslr ran out of battery, took them using my old phone that couldn't adjust against the bright cabinet lighting. The statues look 100 times better in person, the red paint is gorgeous.

Got charged, so now the wait begins...

Shipping was about $50, which seems like a steal if the box is as large as Megatron's.

really bummed i had to cancel this, god damn home renovations going down and ended up being more than expected... hopefully i get a chance to pick this up down the line, i still think its the best optimus to date

The bright side of picking one up later is that the EX isn't necessary for this one. Everybody will display with the gun.

Sideshow won't let me return for an exchange. This doesn't make sense. They still have the ex in stock. I have to wait for a replacement torso from Prime 1. With all these parts that connect to the torso a replacement probably won't fit. They just want me to be stuck with the problem and they can sell the ex to someone else.

Yeah for optimus, although both axes look good i will always display him with the gun, so ex isnt that useful for me, they just sitting in the box. I wish it's his other hand holding the axe, then i can display both.

For megatron the ex is must, it comes with a giant sword and is held separately from his canon. Only reason i didnt display it is because my shelf isnt deep enough - i cant close the cabinet door with megatron holding the sword. it really adds a lot of depth requirement.

So ended up with 2 regular display :|

tell sideshow it's damaged and you want to return it for full refund, they will send you a return label to send it back. Then order a new one. Done. You gotta play fire with fire!
