And, as much I hate this common criticism, her face seems like Mondo didn't get the rights to Bettie Page's likeness. I know it's the comic version, but Stevens's version looked just like Page.
That Korra statue, though. So alive. This situation reminds me of how Mondo's vibrant Adventure Time Marceline unexpectedly floored me compared to the Harley I was more hyped for.

You have a point there regarding Rocketeer and Bettie. I can see where she looks like she is standing than hanging on, and Rocketeer seems to be sitting on a stool, but of Korra & Asami I love.

Yep, you nailed it. I wish i had a constructive suggestion for how to fix the overall stiltedness. I'm sure the straight-on position of Cliff and Bettie on the exhaust plume is the culprit, but having them lean back further would look just as awkward. I think the recent DC Designer Superman and Lois was more effective at capturing that swept-off-one's-feet composition, but that was meant to convey floating, not taking off, where the dynamism is even more essential.
But yeah, that LoK piece LOL. A+. I would much rather praise that for pages at a time.

Despite having more familiarity with this franchise than Bloodbourne, this is giving me that same feeling as Prime 1's Lady Maria for being a fantastic art piece in its own right, whether you've played the games or not.

Rocketeer looks nice. But I see what people have mentioned earlier. She looks like she's standing and not hanging on.
