I have a couple of new commissions I recently picked up that I am pretty happy with.
First up is a piece by up-and-comer Dan Gorman. He's pretty cheap ($50 for full color sketch cover or $25 for a b & w). I had him do a tribute piece to a scene I was always a fan of, but with a few tweaks. I have a few sketch covers, so this was a nice one to add to my collection. Gorman was super easy to work with and didn't disappoint at all. Gorman, for those interested, can be reached at
www.dangormanart.com or at
gdan75@gmail.com.
Next up is a piece my wife got me from Brian Shearer of ol' Doctor Doom. I am a big fan of Von Doom, and Shearer did a nice job on the piece.
And a piece I picked up from Bob Shaw of Cassie Hack, drawn by Tim Seeley. Figured I'd snag it before Seeley's creations get too popular and I can't afford his work anymore.
Finally, Franchesco surprised me with a colored version of a piece I had him do, and he's graciously giving me a print to add to my collection. It's gorgeous.
