If we're talking about pieces I've wanted and couldn't track down yet, there's gotta be a few hundred of those

If we're talking about pieces that were (to my knowledge) for sale, sold, and something I couldn't obtain since- yeah, there's a few of those. A few off the top of my head:

1) Murphy Anderson convention sketch of Captain Comet that sold on Heritage Auctions. Just found out about it as it sold and would love this piece. Unfortunately it doesn't have one of those "make seller an offer" buttons on the page

2) Jim Valentino early (approx 1982) convention sketch of (a topless) Supergirl vs Mr Mxyzptlk- I bid on this one a couple years ago (ebay) but not enough. Should have gone higher, have no idea where it is now

3) Guardians of the Galaxy (Vol 1) #16- second last page- a splash page with the team- I didn't want this at the time so didn't bid. Now I think it would be great to own. Sold on ebay a couple years ago and haven't seen it since

There are a few things that I'm always trying to keep an eye out for. Mainly some of the Irv Novick pages from The Flash circa 1977 through 1978. I've seen a few come up for sale but there's a lot that I've never seen for sale or in anybody's collection.

I'd love to get a Porter page of JLA from their first encounter with Prometheus... or from the first four issues.

Not a necessity at all, but it'd be fun to own.

Just thought I'd add some scans of the 2 pages I've been searching for over the years:

Deadly Hands of Kung-Fu #33 frontispiece with Daughters of the Dragon -

Nick Fury & Wolverine: Scorpio Connection, page 22 -

Just in case someone spots one of these one day .....

For what its worth, I had an open line of communication with a fella off CAF regarding the first Ottley page from Invincible. I thought we had a deal then he disappeared and quit emailing. I thought I had that.
