1/7 Motoko Kusanagi arrived yesterday. From the anime series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, this ATBC-PVC statue's produced by Union Creative. There's also a variant simulating her Therm-optic camouflage abilities, more info here http://union-creative.jp/en/uc/2759/

Original Factory Paint

Minor Repaint Repainted The Major's eyes & lips to look closer to her anime design:

Nice work on the repaint.
I love that Clare piece, too.

Thank you, personally thought The Major looked stunned so i tweaked it.

Some sprue marks & seam lines could have been cleaned up better but apart from that this is a good solid statue.

Always wanted a Ghost in the Shell/Motoko Kusanagi collectible but didn't want to pay ridiculous aftermarket prices.

Wonder if they'll remake the Claymore anime series like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood?

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Very nice Griffon! The touch up work on Kusanagi makes her look even better. I wish mine looked like that. I agree that the blank stare she comes with doesn't do her justice.

Best pre-painted 3D representation of her in my opinion & the silver + chrome finishes really stand out.

Thanks friend! Practiced before attempting it though. If you want to try i recommend using Tamiya X (acrylic gloss paints) black, white, red, X-20A Thinner, cup of water, small plastic pallette, fine round & sharp point brushes. Make sure your room's ventilated & well lit, use a reference, practice painting on the palette first then the statue & be patient.

You can also try using decals. I saw another collector carefully heated the hair & face pieces, took it apart, applied Archer Anime eyeball decals, added clear varnish, & glued it all back together.
