They are going to lose their minds with hate no matter what. They did it with every version of SF4 cause either their char wasn't included or they didn't like the new chars.
its going to massive hate when announced cause its massive hate now with changes and these people havnt even tested it yet.

Roxy would be the cheapest way. They did it for stages and characters that they ported from sf x t. So it wouldn't surprise me if Capcom did that sine they are teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. I'm big fan of Final Fight, FF2, FF3. So I would like Dean, Lucia, Maki in the game. Please, no more shotos. Hell, i'll even take Kyle, than another shoto lol
People who say Ken's son Mel make me laugh out loud. Uhh.. Eliza is pregnant in the cut scenes

Well Maki could be an interesting choice since it's confirmed to be a female and she hasn't been in a Street Fighter game that I'm aware of.
Edit: Never mind, I just did her Wiki. She was in CvS 2 and SF Alpha 3.

She's in Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX. And CvS2.
She's awesome too. But she's ruled out.

Capcom have milked this too much.
Their best move now is to deliver more than one extra character. Under promise and over deliver. Surprise people.
And actually I bet they do. I've been thinking it all along because quite honestly people are going to be pissed after waiting so long and all the trolling.
I wouldn't be surprised if they announced the new character and then announced Alex or something.

You've got a good point, would be awesome to get more than one character.
I think having Alex as a bonus secret character would really please the fans and stop the whingeing.
