I went to a general store. They wouldn't let me buy anything specifically.

So, if you are located in the Americas, then yes, it's normal that you didn't get your payment notification yet.
Well, I'm located in Ireland, and i got mine shipped yesterday, which seems to be the earliest shipping date (from within US)

Men aren't either.
I had an ex boyfriend that used to roll his eyes at my statues.
1. They make me happy. So he could have been supportive.
2. He collects Transformers!!!! WTF?!

I need to find my statue-collecting soulmate, lmao.

I find most people are quick to dismiss other's interest as a "waste of money" but never see their own the same way. Friend of mine shakes his head at $500 statue, but thinks nothing of spending double that on a weekend golf trip.

I think he was just overly insecure. Didn't like me gushing over a Sabretooth PF and not him. Lol

Compromise where both parties feel like they are a winner is sometimes hard to do but it can be done with each person realizing their limitations (space, money, attention etc.).
In our 38 years of marriage my spouse and I know to give each other time alone as well as together, we also work out a budget in advance and don't exceed it when it comes to hobbies and collectables. We admit that we can't have it all but we try to be happy with what we can. We also try not to hurt the other person such as my spouse is not fond of fully nude statues so If I ever get ones on order from ARH I will not display them nude in a common area.
To be more on topic my family and I are not much for gore displayed either so when I get my Red Sonja statue I plan to use the cloth cape to cover the severed head up and I don't feel that will hurt the display in any way.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.

Give SSC customer service a call for more info. Its possible they just haven't gotten to your order yet. But they can tell you for sure.

Good to know.

Haven't order this yet, myself. I'm planning on getting the REG later.

I think if you found that statue-collecting soulmate, the only argument would be over who gets what spot/space for a statue

Sounds like a few friends of mine as well lol.. They do their golf outings/bar hoping pissing away money literally. Id rather have a statue physically in hand...
Everyone has their interests i guess. But I'd like to think we as collectors are smarter about it!
