Shifting gears my Marvel Comiquettes. I dont buy a lot of Coms. I dont have a problem with the 1/5 scale, but they can be a little awkward to display. They play better off 1/6 figures than 1/4 pieces IMO.

Ghost Rider, love this piece and most people dont even know it exists. Got this off a guy that worked on the GR movie which is kind of neat. Im not big on throne pieces but really like this one. 8/10.

Magneto Com. I like this, a lot of people do not. I recognize the shortcomings but still like the piece. 7/10.

She Hulk EX. Love this piece, one of my favorites. Use the Byrne head on display.

My preferred look for She Hulk. 9/10 piece for me. The only thing that would make it better would be if it were in 1/4 scale.

Wolverine. This one is really a 1/4 piece and possibly oversized at that. I never have hit on a Wolverine that I like better than this one. Solid 8/10 and I think it fits in my lineup nicely.

Black Cat EX. Bought this piece for my wife and now its in my statue room. I love everything about this piece, my favorite Com. 10/10.

Cant believe I left this one out, my Spider Man and MJ EX Com. I originally had the entire JSC line but sold them off. I still have the JSC Black Cat EX as well, but she hangs out in my daughters room that likes it a lot more than I do.

IMO the worst of the JSC line and weakest one I own, which is why I didnt put up a fight when my daughter claimed it.

Speaking of 1/5 scale, this big boy is one of the favorite pieces in my Collection. I adore the Indy on Horeseback from the Last Crusade. I picked this up from IrishJedi on the freaks board. It?s the EX, only 150 were done and its in a comically large box. The largest box in my collection. I think he sold it mostly out of frustration for it not really fitting in his car, lol.

Hanging out next to him is Dr Henry Jones artfx piece by Koto, great likeness. These are both 10/10 pieces for me.

And next to these guys on my movie shelf is Sideshows first Captain Jack Sparrow. I actually owned the second piece they did first, but just always liked this version more and the story it tells. Behind him I snuck in ARH Arhian Pirate piece because I like the way she is side eyeing that gold Capt Jack is holding. Makes a nice diorama IMO and doesnt hurt I got it very cheap, lol.

Thanks, me too! The Indy license was on its last legs when it came out, and people ignored it. I had it on order but had too many things on my plate at the time, so I was lucky to score it a short time later from a fellow collector. I had it on my desk at work for the longest time because I just enjoy it so much. Its a really good Ford likeness too which many have struggled with over the years.

I had always thought I would chase down the Sideshow Universal Monsters. I still have the Lon Chaney London after Midnight, and used to have the 1/5 Nosferatu. But they got really pricey in the after market so I changed gears. I picked up a couple of the figures (waiting to be displayed mostly) and four Life Sized Busts.

The first is Frankenstein, Boris Karloff by Factory entertainment. When you throw the switch the mad scientist can be heard over the electricity excitedly yelling, its alive and Frankensteins eyes light up. Great effect, wonderful piece, a tad undersized though. 8/10. Next in line is Lon Chaneys Phantom of the Opera by Black Heart Enterprises. Excellent piece, very well done, 8/10 merely for being less of a favorite overall. Next is Bela Lugosi Dracula. This is another Black Heart piece and another winner. 9/10. Lastly is Max Shreck as Nosferatu by Black Heart. He is holding a locket in his evil twisted hand with a picture of Hutters wife. Some have said in an alternate end to the movie she brings about his demise. This is my favorite of the busts and a 10/10. Also, one of his nails had broken in my move back to the US and I contacted Black Heart who did up another hand for me for a reasonable fee. Great customer service and I love their products. They mostly do kits and I have zero painting skills, but I would gladly buy more of their painted busts if they would make them.

I resisted the urge to get into busts for many years and regret that. These have a tremendous presence in my room and really break up the collection.
