EDIT: But, then again, the store locator probably only shows actual brick and mortar stores vs. e-stores.

Hoping some etailer would. Most of our LCS stop carrying Sideshow statues due to the CBSA additional duty.

Anyone know if BBTS ever carried the red hulk comiquette? If they did, that would be a good sign.

I definitely like the variant more, but there aren't any stores that sell Sideshow products near me. I may pick up the regular version anyway and look for the variant later.

I know the purple/black is the retail exclusive... but I was unclear if the standard teal/brown edition was considered an "EX" of sorts for SSC only of if other outlets will carry it too. With most of SSC's products, you can buy them direct from SSC or through other stores too (unless it is an EX variant).

Trying to avoid the "SSC tax," i.e. their high shipping fee (probably around $20) and also 9.0% CA sales tax. That tacks on another $50 and raises my total cost for this statue to $350.

I'm tempted to get both statues after seeing the retail exclusive variant on the SSC Live show. The black hair and purple tail/fin really complement each other well. The statue might pop more on the shelf with the dark colors.

I would think so. You might not get the mini-print, but I would think the statue itself should be available from BBTS.

I'm still hoping they don't do a regular ("Collector") version. I don't see any reason for three editions of this - the teal w/ print as one edition and the purple store variant as another is enough.
