Penn could definitely carry at least one more movie in the series. He makes for a serious badass ala Jason Bourne or Bryan Mills.

The story could have used a little tweaking and there were some scenes that could have been edited a lot better, but it was still a pretty compelling action / thriller

Jurassic World 8/10

Really enjoyed it and thought it was the second best out of the four movies

Nice references to the original but there were somethings that weren't quite right for me

Terminator: Genisys

8/10

Was a great movie and really enjoyed it, far better than Terminator 3 and Salvation. I don't understand why the critics hated it so much, but just reinforces my view that you shouldn't take their view seriously, considering Magic Mike got a higher score than Terminator

Jurassic World (2015) ~ 2/5

Take Jurassic Park, turn it into a typical summer blockbuster and strip all the soul out of the film and this is what you're left with.
It wasn't bad, but it just didn't do anything to make me actually care about it.
The casting decisions were possibly the worst part. Never thought I'd actually be cheering for kids to get eaten in a movie, but this one had me rooting for the dinosaurs to wipe out those 2 annoying child leads.
"Hey dinosaurs!"..."why are mom and dad getting divorced?"..."hey dinosaurs!"
...ugh

2/5 seems a bit harsh but all your criticism for the movie are justified. If they removed the two kids from the movie, it would have almost had no difference on the overall plot of the movie.

The kids were definitely throwaway casting choices.

My wife enjoyed it more than me, I just left the theatre feeling empty even though I went in with a clear mind (ie. not trying to compare it to Park)
