The Visit: Becca is a young girl making a documentary and we meet her and her mother during their first interview in which Becca asks her mum why she left Ho,e. We are given some of the back story but not the reason for her sudden departure or her reluctance to make contact with her parents. Becca discovers that her grandparents are still alive and she persuades her mum to allow herself and her brother Tyler visit. Her grandparents live in a rural Pennsylvania farmstead. They are welcomed by a very charming elderly couple to they refer to as Nana and Pop Pop and all seems perfectly normal until the couple begin to demonstrate strange behaviour. The children discover the shocking truth and wonder if they will ever make it home.
The film is a low budget but welcome return to form for M. Night Shyamalan who had lost his way and his perspective on film making. I think he drank too much of his own cool aid. The fact that Producer Blum has already greenlit their next project is very a very promising sign that we maybe witnessing a special collaboration.

Jurassic World
A solid action flick with plenty of nods towards the original.

Lair of the White Worm 3/10
An 80's movie based on a Bram Stoker novel that I watched because I am a fan of Amanda Donohoe but it was just god-awful and is made even worse with the insufferable Hugh Grant

Under The Skin (2013) - A mysterious woman seduces lonely men in the evening hours in Scotland. Events lead her to begin a process of self-discovery.
One of my favorite films of the last few years. My third viewing and it's still fascinating. 10/10

Same here. I rewatch it at least once a year. Still holds up well.
