I hate to say it but "sharked-jumped" with this second season. Plot lines are just all over the place with Ragnar seeming to just drop campaigns & plans from one show to another for weak reasons. His 1st wife, Lagertha was oddly left for another one in a soft plot device. They were just so great as a couple that the show seems so much weaker w/o it. His son was replaced by an older actor, which seems unnecessary, 'cause the same story might have been told w/ Bjorn as a young man. Alliances have broken for odd reasons. The show seems to have really lost focus. I'm barely hanging on and it sucks because I loved the 1st season. It's as if new writers have come in & just mucked it all up. I've read that it's been picked up for a 3rd season, I'm hoping they can tighten the show up.

I'm still enjoying it but will admit it could be better. The "Blood Eagle" in that last episode...

Got the most recent two episodes in the queue. I'm hoping my wife doesn't notice. If not for her, I'd have given up on this show last season...

I get into this show for a while and slowly lose interest. I think it's because of the characters. Rollo is my favorite, but he always gets the short end of the stick. I've never seen a show where I just don't care about the main character. I loved Ragnar in season 1, but he was completely off the rails in season 2. Nothing he did made sense to me. Season 3 has started off great so far, though.

Ha! whenever I see the commercials, the first thing I think of is the show is really just Sons Of Anarchy a long time ago.

I have the S3 premier on my DVR and will likely watch it this weekend.
S2 and the latter half of S1 was a bit of a disappointment for me given how strong the series started. It's a good series that has a ton of potential but suffers from too many mediocre episodes.

Pretty pissed off at the movie Vikings made last night. This season had been great but now, I think the soul was just yanked.
