Secret Wars spun out of Hickman's Avengers run (and his Fantastic Four run as well). Sometimes the tie in's can help to advance the story (like everything happening with the Death Metal tie-in's) but I thought I got a complete story by just reading the mini series itself.

You may be right. I'm new to Omnibus, but I like the idea behind them. All in one shot. But sometimes there's loose ends or missing history. But then I guess you'll always be back tracking or pending.

Just got Marvel Horror Lives Again Omnibus, the follow up to lasts year’s Marvel Horror Omnibus. The first one was wonderful and can’t wait to start reading this one!

Ordered Uncanny X-Men Omni volume 2. I’ll be getting 3 and 4 along with Excalibur, Jim Lee X-Men and Inferno omnibus books. I’ll be set for X-Men books after March/April.

I’ve got the two X-Men Omnibuses and the first two Uncanny X-Men Omnibuses, plus The Astonishing X-Men Omnibus. I think I’m set for X-Men.

I have Uncanny X2 and House/Powers of X on their way. But I still need Uncanny X 3 and 4, Inferno, AoA, Fatal Attractions, Astonishing, Clermont X 1 & 2.

Yikes, that is quite a list. Fortunately alot of those can be found on Ebay from sellers at a discount price and also I would suggest Cheap Graphic Novels. I have ordered a number of hardbacks from them and have never been disappointed.

Yea, no kidding! I'm unfortunately at the start of the runs that are of interest to me. That's not even getting into DD, Spiderman nor anything else. But there's no better way to get these complete now that I know of these. I've been ordering through CGN as recommended. Unless I find a better deal. The other day I scooped a few DC books from Target buy 2 get 1 free. The prices were equivalent to CGN or less on those specific books I ordered. First statues, now this... I must hate money!

I heard they doing another release of the AoA omnibus in 2021.
